United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is hiring as a Driver in San Antonio. You will deliver and retrieve equipment, log driving activity, and assist customers with equipment needs while maintaining safety standards.

Prioritize courteous service and efficient operations in a fast‑paced environment. No CDL is required for this role, though you will operate heavy equipment per DOT guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid and clean driver's license.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Diligent attention to safety and safe driving procedures.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment.
• Frequent lifting of items up to 45 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate manual transmission semi-trucks and trailers (CDL‑B) as required.
• Maintain a driver log.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies as customers may need.
• Operate boom trucks and cranes per manufacturer specifications.
• Other duties as assigned.

As a Driver, you will deliver equipment in a safe, timely, efficient, and courteous manner. This position does not require a CDL driver's license.

What you’ll do

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers
• Operate heavy construction equipment such as manual transmission semi-trucks and trailers ("rollbacks" or dovetails") consistent with DOT classification CDL-B
• Maintain a driver log
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies as customers may need
• Operate boom trucks and cranes in accordance with manufacturer specifications
• Other duties as assigned
