Job summary

Ewing Outdoor Supply is seeking dedicated CDL Class A and Class B drivers to join our team. You will primarily make deliveries to customers and transport materials between our locations, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

As a CDL Driver and Yard Associate, you will interact with customers, provide excellent service, operate forklifts and yard equipment, and help with loading, unloading, and route planning to meet schedules. A clean CDL and reliable driving history are required.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A/B experience with a clean driving record.
• Operate GPS/AVL units and CB radio.
• Knowledge of truck driving rules and safety practices.
• Willing to pass background and drug checks.
• Forklift and yard equipment experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to retail or distribution centers.
• Coordinate customer job site and warehouse deliveries.
• Assist yard operations: loading, unloading, moving products.
• Inspect vehicles for maintenance and safety issues.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Comply with CDL regulations and company policies.

Ewing Outdoor Supply is seeking a dedicated CDL Class A and Class B Drivers to join our team. In this role, you will primarily make deliveries to customers and transport materials between our locations. Your contribution will be vital in ensuring our customers recieve their materials on time while keeping safety and efficiency at the forefront of your work.

As a CDL Driver and Yard Associate, your interaction with customers will be crucial in providing them with the best experience possible. You’ll be expected to exhibit exceptional customer service skills along with the ability to operate various equipment and vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to and from retail or distribution centers.
• Customer job site and warehouse delivery
• Assist in yard operations, including loading, unloading, and moving product
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Comply with CDL rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members to fulfill orders and resolve issues
• Report defects, accidents, or violations

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a CDL Driver
• Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc)
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• No recent moving or driving violations
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc)
• Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations
• Valid CDL license
• Ability to operate forklifts and other yard equipment
• Strong customer service skills
• Experience with flat beds and dump trucks
• At least a CDL A is required
• Moffit & forklift experience is a plus
