Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. in Portland, OR is hiring a Trench Safety Driver to transport trench and MAP shoring to job sites, with 80% travel and 20% yard duties. A Class A CDL and DOT Medical Card are required; flatbed experience and loading/unloading experience are needed.

Previous equipment rental experience is a plus. The schedule runs Monday–Friday, 7 AM–5 PM (could start as early as 6 AM) with an on-call rotation 1–2 weeks per month.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with DOT Medical Card required.
• Flatbed experience and loading/unloading experience required.
• Previous equipment rental experience a plus.
• NCCCO certification a plus but not required.
• TWIC card a plus but not required.
• 80% of work involves transporting trench and MAP shoring to and from job sites.
• 20% involves assembly, testing, inspection, power washing, inventory control and yard duties.
• Physical exertion up to 90 pounds.
• Drivers are an extension of sales and must maintain courteous customer relations.

$34.00 to $45.00 paid weekly.

Have you got what it takes?
