Job summary

Medline Industries, LP's MedTrans is Medline's private fleet delivering lifesaving medical products to customers, with 2,100+ trucks and a nationwide network. The Driver operates a Class A vehicle on local routes, ensuring timely, accurate, and safe deliveries while building strong customer relationships.

The Driver role pays $24.50–$35.50 per hour and requires a CDL and driving experience. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, coordinating with dispatch, and maintaining safety and logs.

• CDL Class A is required and must be valid.
• Minimum 2 years tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A vehicle between the Medline Facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route.
• Abide by Medline’s safety regulations, including wearing safety equipment where needed, performing safety checks, etc.
• Unload and deliver product at our customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Provide in‑person support to the customer – addressing their questions and needs and providing appropriate documentation upon delivery.
• Communicate with dispatching team regarding necessary adjustments to delivery route or schedule in order to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
• Maintain a travel and cargo log in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company policy.
• Perform inspection of vehicle to ensure safe operation and sufficient fuel levels for continued vehicle use.

Our fleet consists of 2,100+ trucks that feature newer equipment. We manage a network of over 50 distribution centers nationally and provide 1-day shipping to 95% of the United States.

The Driver

The Driver is responsible for operating a Class A vehicle to transport life‑saving medical products to our local customers. The Driver plays a critical role in building positive relationships with our customers by ensuring timely, accurate, and safe deliveries. This driver position pays 28.50/hr.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: N/A
• Certification / Licensure: Class A CDL; Licensed to operate assigned vehicle.
• Work Experience: Minimum 2 years tractor trailer driving experience.
• Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Must be able to meet all Federal and State requirements for the operation of commercial motor vehicles. Must have a clean driving record with no serious violations. Frequently move, lift, carry supplies/equipment up to 50 lbs

The anticipated salary range for this position: $24.50 - $35.50 Hourly. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
