Job summary

Compellier Cemplex Group is seeking a CDL A Driver to transport materials to multiple job sites from the Northwest Dallas location. The role requires operating Tractor-Trailer, Flatbed and heavy-duty trucks, with up to four hours distance from the Cemplex Office, and performing pre-trip inspections and logbook maintenance.

You will communicate with general contractors, unload materials, and handle equipment as needed.

The Cemplex Group CDL A Driver position is responsible for driving material to various job sites on time.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive Tractor-Trailer, Flatbed, Heavy Duty Trucks
• Deliver material and equipment to various jobsites and up to 4 hours away from the Cemplex Office.
• Unload Equipment and material at job sites
• Operate other equipment as needed
• Communicate with General Contractors on job sites as to location of Material/Equipment staging.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years of experience driving a CDL A eligible vehicle
  • Valid Class A CDL
• Preferred:
  • Mechanical background

This position requires the successful completion of a motor vehicle check and compliance with DOT requirements.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS

• Lift, pull, push, and carry 80 lbs. of weight intermittently.
• Ability to identify safety hazards and communicate effectively with others.
• Bend, squat, twist, and reach in various positions as the situation dictates.
• Extended periods of sitting in one spot
• Overnight travel may be required within 4 hours of the office location. Accommodations and daily per diem are employer provided.
