Job summary

C.R. England is seeking experienced truck drivers for a dedicated Dollar Tree fleet out of Joliet, IL. Drivers will cover the upper Midwest, averaging 970 miles weekly with 3–5 stops per load and unload with rollers as part of touch freight.

Home time includes a 34-hour reset at home every weekend; shifts run Mon–Fri or Tue–Sat depending on location. Sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions are provided, with truck-home capability where safe.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• 21 years of age or older.
• 3+ months of recent Class A CDL experience.
• Ability to unload with rollers on touch freight.

Job description

Three turns a week, rollers in the trailer, and a 34-hour reset at home every weekend. That is the rhythm of the dedicated Dollar Tree fleet running out of Joliet, IL.

You will deliver dry freight to Dollar Tree stores across the upper Midwest, averaging about 970 miles per week with three to five stops per load. This is a touch freight account, so you unload with rollers and stay active between drives.

• Based out of Joliet, IL
• Deliveries to WI, IA, MN, MI, IN and Northern KY
• Three turns per week on average
• Three to five stops per load on average
• Touch freight: unload dry freight using rollers

Home Time:

• 34-hour reset at home every week
• Reset usually falls on Saturday and Sunday or Sunday and Monday
• Shifts run Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday, depending on where you live

Equipment:

• Sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions
• You can take your truck home to park, as long as the spot is safe and secure

How You Earn:

• Mileage pay
• Unload pay

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
• 21 years of age or older
• 3+ months of recent Class A CDL experience
• Breakdown 24 hours - $200 per day
• St George backhaul pickup - $15 per load, $15 for Dunnage
• Clean DOT Inspection - $25
• Safe and On Time Bonus - Up to 3% Weekly
