Job summary

CR England seeks experienced truck drivers for its Joliet, IL operation. Earn mileage and unload pay while running a dedicated route delivering dry freight to Dollar Tree stores across the upper Midwest.

Routes average about 970 miles per week with 3–5 stops per load, sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions, and the option to take your truck home when parked safely. Home time includes a 34-hour reset every weekend.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL and have 3+ months of recent Class A CDL experience.
• Applicant must be 21 years of age or older.
• Safety-focused with reliable on-time performance.
• Willing to unload dry freight as part of touch freight operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dry freight to Dollar Tree stores across the upper Midwest.
• Operate sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions and bring your truck home when safe.
• Unload using rollers and stay active between drives.
• Maintain adherence to DOT regulations and company policies.

Job description

Three turns a week, rollers in the trailer, and a 34-hour reset at home every weekend. That is the rhythm of the dedicated Dollar Tree fleet running out of Joliet, IL.

You will deliver dry freight to Dollar Tree stores across the upper Midwest, averaging about 970 miles per week with three to five stops per load. This is a touch freight account, so you unload with rollers and stay active between drives.

• Based out of Joliet, IL
• Deliveries to WI, IA, MN, MI, IN and Northern KY
• Three turns per week on average
• Three to five stops per load on average
• Touch freight: unload dry freight using rollers

Home Time:

• 34-hour reset at home every week
• Reset usually falls on Saturday and Sunday or Sunday and Monday
• Shifts run Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday, depending on where you live

Equipment:

• Sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions
• You can take your truck home to park, as long as the spot is safe and secure

How You Earn:

• Mileage pay
• Unload pay

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
• 21 years of age or older
• 3+ months of recent Class A CDL experience
• Breakdown 24 hours - $200 per day
• St George backhaul pickup - $15 per load, $15 for Dunnage
• Clean DOT Inspection - $25
• Safe and On Time Bonus - Up to 3% Weekly
