Job summary

Linde Inc. in La Porte, TX is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair mobile nitrogen pumpers and related cryogenic equipment for safe and reliable operation.

You will service diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulic systems, cryogenic trailers and pumps, and perform preventive maintenance in shop or field while documenting work per safety standards. Must have a CDL Class A with HazMat/Tanker endorsements and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years of cryogenic pumps, transports, and related equipment experience preferred.
• CDL Class A with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors.
• Background check and drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mobile nitrogen pumpers and related cryogenic equipment.
• Service and repair diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulic systems, cryogenic trailers and pumps.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance in shop or field and diagnose unplanned mechanical events.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment per specifications.
• Document maintenance and repairs and communicate with supervisors and field technicians.
• Maintain equipment compliance with bulletins and alerts.
