About the Role

Sysco has immediate openings for dependable local CDL A Delivery Truck Drivers to operate tractor-trailers safely and efficiently, manually unload and deliver various products (meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, supplies, etc.) to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Building positive relationships with customers through friendly service is essential, along with understanding their operations to meet needs and expectations.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• 21+ years of age
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to lift, push, or move products weighing 40-60 pounds, up to 100 pounds repeatedly
• Flexibility for overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed

Preferred Requirements

• 1 year of customer delivery experience
• 6 months of hand cart/hand truck experience
• 6 months of Food and Beverage experience
• 2 years of consistent work history
