Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking CDL-A Delivery Drivers to support our nationwide distribution network. You will inspect, drive and deliver, with a 3rd shift, overnight schedule, and full-time status.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects and submit DOT reports.
• Drive to destination and follow commercial driving regulations.
• Maintain driver log and document deliveries and temperatures.
• Unload products at customer premises and perform other duties.

• Pay Rate: Drivers make $75,000-$80,000, while our top earners make up to $110,000

What You’ll Do As a CDL-A Delivery Driver

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You’ll Bring As a CDL-A Teammate

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
