Job summary

McLane is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver in Monroe, MI to move products to customer locations and support our nationwide distribution network. You will be responsible for safe operation of tractor-trailers, adhering to DOT regulations, and maintaining accurate delivery records.

The role requires 21+ years old, a valid CDL-A, and at least 1 year (or 50,000 miles) of driving experience. We offer Day 1 benefits and a 401(k) plan, with opportunities for growth and home time.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Class A CDL (CDL-A) license.
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You'll Bring As a CDL-A Teammate

• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications
