Job summary

McLane in the United States is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to move goods for America’s favorite brands, with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability. You will inspect trucks, drive to destinations, log deliveries, and unload products while adhering to DOT regulations to ensure timely, accurate service.

We offer pay from $85,000 to $100,000, a $10,000 sign-on bonus based on experience, and Day 1 benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA and company-paid life

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A CDL (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English sufficiently for job tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination following DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations.
• Unload trailer and deliver product to customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do As a CDL-A Delivery Driver

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You'll Bring As a CDL-A Teammate

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
