Job summary

McLane is hiring seasoned CDL-A Delivery Drivers to move products for America’s favorite brands. You will drive tractor-trailers, perform DOT-compliant logs, and deliver to customer premises with safety and accuracy.

From day one you receive medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA, life insurance, paid holidays, and vacation. The pay range is $85,000 to $100,000 with a $10,000 sign-on bonus based on experience, plus a 401(k) plan after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a functional level.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of regulations and safe maneuvering.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipts and temps.
• Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do As a CDL-A Delivery Driver

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You'll Bring As a CDL-A Teammate

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
