Job summary

SYGMA Danville, IL is seeking a professional Delivery Driver to safely transport products from the warehouse to customers, ensuring accurate delivery and proper unloading.

Responsibilities include unloading, paperwork accuracy, and maintaining food safety standards. Requires a valid CDL-A, 1 year driving experience, and ability to work an overnight schedule with potential weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Must be insurable to operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Unloads product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions and places in designated customer storage areas according to customer specifications and company standards.
• Ensures all paperwork is completed according to established company and governmental guidelines (e.g., DOT logs, inspections, maintenance reports) and that invoices are accurate.
• Ensures all food safety protocols are met and maintains sanitary conditions in tractor and trailer and warehouse.
• Develops and maintains good relationships with customers by providing excellent service and clear communication.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
