Job summary

SYGMA Illinois is seeking a delivery driver to transport products from the warehouse to customers, loading and unloading as required. You will drive tractor-trailers, maintain delivery accuracy, and communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction.

The role requires a Class A CDL, DOT knowledge, and the ability to work nights/weekends. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1 year tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, hazmat guidelines, safe lifting and delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Unload and deliver products to customers per invoices and standards.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and logs (DOT logs, vehicle maintenance reports).
• Ensure food safety and sanitary conditions in vehicle and warehouse as needed.
• Build good customer relationships through courteous service and clear communication.
