Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company, a leading distributor of food and beverage, is seeking a Delivery Driver DOT to service customers across Texas. The role includes delivering product, invoicing customers, rotating back stock, building displays, and completing daily reports.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Coordinate multiple activities and follow through with commitments.
• Good oral and written communication skills and participate well in a team environment.
• Motivated and results oriented, with a strong attention to detail.
• Must be organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Ability to move products weighing up to 165 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear.
• Must be 21 yrs. or older to apply.
• Ability to operate/drive single axle truck with 27 ft. trailer.
• Texas Class A CDL driver’s license with a clean MVR.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• High school graduate or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver product, invoice the customer, rotate back stock, build displays, fill windows and work up the daily damaged reports.
• Route checks every afternoon and truck inspections every morning and afternoon.
• May supervise a helper.
