Job summary

Performance Food Group is hiring CDL-A Delivery Drivers to support America's food distribution system. You will drive tractor trailer or straight truck, deliver and unload products to customers on scheduled routes, and represent the company with professionalism while complying with DOT regulations. No weekends and benefits on day 1.

Qualifications

6 months to 1 year commercial driving experience.
Foodservice distribution experience.
Onboard computer and electronic log system experience (PeopleNet).
Hand-held point of delivery scanning system experience (POD).
Customer service-related work experience.

Responsibilities

Perform safety checks prior to and after trips per DOT regulations.
Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines; report hazards.
Inspect trailer for proper loading; verify freight and complete paperwork.
Ensure freight is secured; unload damaged goods; complete end-of-shift paperwork.
Comply with daily records and hours of service requirements.
Uphold safety standards and assist with additional duties as needed.
