Job summary

US Foods in Chattanooga, TN is hiring a CDL A Delivery Driver for early-morning routes Monday through Friday, 2am to 6am. You will safely drive, back into docks, and unload with care while upholding safety and service standards.

Starting wage is $23.23 per hour during training; after training, compensation includes component pay based on stops, miles, and cases, with an expected average around $40 per hour. Benefits begin Day One and include health care and retirement savings.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL Class A with required endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Minimum 6 months of commercial driving experience (any industry) or 3 months in food/beverage delivery.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English; FMCSA Clearinghouse registration required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers safely and on time.
• Unload using equipment or by hand; 100% touch freight where applicable.
• Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
• Provide professional customer service to enhance experience.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections for safety.
• Handle collections and payments when applicable.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by management.
