Job summary

US Foods, Inc. is hiring a CDL A Delivery Driver in Chattanooga, TN. The role involves safe driving, unloading 100% touch freight, verifying deliveries with customers, and maintaining professional service. You’ll perform vehicle inspections and may handle basic account tasks as needed.

Starting pay is $23.23 per hour during training, with potential to earn around $40 per hour after training through component pay based on stops, miles, and cases. Training schedule typically Mon–Fri, 2am–6am.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid CDL Class A with DOT qualifications.
• Minimum 6 months commercial driving experience (any industry) or 3 months in food/beverage delivery.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Safe driving delivering products to customers in a timely manner.
• Unload products using two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand; 100% touch freight.
• Verify deliveries with customers and secure signatures.
• Provide professional customer service to enhance experience.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to uphold safety standards.
• Handle account management tasks such as collections/payments when applicable.
• Adapt to other duties as assigned by management.
