Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring a CDL A Delivery Driver for local, day-time routes in Macon, GA. You will build relationships with customers while delivering food products to various facilities. Expect to be home daily due to local routes and to unload up to 100 lbs using a ramp and two-wheeler.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, start between 3 AM and 5 AM. Pay ranges from $68,000 to $100,000 annually, with a guaranteed weekly minimum. Company offers benefits, profit sharing, and 401K with a 4% match.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL license.
• Maintain a clean driving record as per DOT standards.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Must be registered through the DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to customers, including restaurants, schools, and hospitals.
• Unload cases up to 100 lbs using ramp and two-wheeler as needed.
• Follow schedule: Monday–Friday, start between 3–5 AM, routes completed daily.

CDL A Delivery Driver

Location: 3653 Eisenhower Pkwy Macon, GA

Do you have a passion for driving? Are you looking for more home time? Picture yourself as a delivery driver with Gordon Food Service! In this position, you will be building relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more. Day shifts and local routes mean you’ll be home every day. You’ll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs, and you’ll be using a ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift. Schedule: Monday-Friday. Start time 3 AM-5 AM until route finish

Pay: Drivers average $68,000- $100,000.00/year

• Guaranteed minimum of $1300/week
• Daily base pay, plus component pay
• Paid for every mile driven, stop made, and case delivered

Does this look like you?

• At least 21 years of age
• Class A CDL License
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check
• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
• You must be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent in order to be considered for employment with us effective January 6th, 2020.
