Core & Main, based in St. Louis, is seeking a delivery driver to support home-town delivery needs across our customer base. You will deliver products, assist with loading and unloading, and serve as the primary interface with customers at the point of delivery.

The role requires a valid Class A or B license, DOT compliance, and strong customer service. You will plan routes, perform inspections, and assist warehouse staff with orders, often home evenings and weekends.

Qualificações

• At least 1 year of Class A or Class B driving experience.
• 2+ years of delivery experience.
• Prior loading/unloading product and job site delivery.
• Forklift certification is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Delivers products to customers which may include assistance with unloading, ensuring delivery of ticket with material, etc.
• Serves as primary interface with the customer at point of delivery.
• Loads truck with daily deliveries.
• Unloads product at customer’s site.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations and Core & Main policies.
• Reports vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage.
• Fuels truck as needed.
• Resolves customer service issues.
• Plans route to and from customers' businesses and adjusts for traffic.
• Assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
