Job summary

Nutrien Ag Solutions in Morenci, MI is hiring a local truck driver to load, transport, and unload materials while adhering to DOT and safety standards. You will operate semi-trucks with one or two trailers, perform DOT inspections, and maintain required records.

Qualifications

• Must meet Department of Transportation physical and medical requirements and pass substance abuse screening.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Must have a driving record that meets company standards.

Responsibilities

• Load or assist in loading trailer with materials.
• Unload or assist in unloading trailer using forklift or hand truck.
• Operate semi-truck with one or two trailers per state laws.
• Transport loads to destinations observing traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct standard DOT truck inspection.
• Complete company and DOT paperwork.
• Complete shipping bills of ladings and return paperwork to shipping office.
• Maintain related records as required.
• Check oil, water, gasoline, air in tires daily; report maintenance issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
