Job summary

Ferguson is hiring a delivery driver in the United States. Starting pay is $29 hourly. You will deliver materials to customers, use a pallet jack, and ensure delivery tickets are correct.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM with some overtime, and you’ll be home daily. Requirements include a valid CDL A, must be at least 21, meet DOT standards, hold a DOT Medical card, and lift up to 50 lbs. Prior warehouse/logistics experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL A.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Meet and maintain CDL requirements.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs.
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers using pallet jack and dolly, ensuring delivery tickets match material.
• Pick up customer returns and validate product match for credit requests.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel the truck and report issues.
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment, receiving, verifying, staging and stocking materials.
• Work overtime as needed and adhere to PPE requirements.
