Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Somerset, KY is seeking CDL-A delivery drivers to service intrastate and interstate routes, delivering food and related products to customers safely and on time. Drivers operate tractor trailers or straight trucks and must meet DOT regulations while maintaining accurate paperwork.

Benefits start Day 1, with 5 weeks of training for new drivers, and a Monday–Friday day shift with home daily.

Qualifications

• 12+ months commercial driving experience required.
• Valid CDL-A license required.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card required or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors and co-workers.
• Operate tractor trailer or straight truck and complete trips per schedule.
• Perform pre/post trip safety inspections and DOT compliance.
• Deliver and unload products to customers, secure loads.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and delivery confirmations.
• Ensure vehicle and freight are secured and report hazards.
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs per regulations.
• Assist with loading/unloading as needed.
