Sysco IL is seeking a Delivery Driver to safely transport products from the warehouse to customers, unloading and delivering per invoices and company standards.

The role requires a Valid Class A CDL, high school diploma or GED, and at least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience or completion of a driving school. Heavy lifting and long-haul routes are common; full benefits and paid training provided.

Competenze

• High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• Completion of a tractor trailer driving school will be accepted instead of, or in addition to a high school diploma.

Mansioni

• Unloads product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions and places in designated customer storage areas according to customer specifications and company standards.
• Ensures all paperwork is completed according to established company and governmental guidelines (e.g., DOT logs, inspections, maintenance reports) and that invoices are accurate and submitted daily.
• Ensures all food safety protocols are met and maintains sanitary conditions in tractor, trailer, warehouse and yard.
• Develops and establishes good relationships with customers by providing excellent and courteous service with clear communication.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
