Job summary

Sysco is seeking a delivery driver to transport products from the warehouse to various customers, using a tractor-trailer and delivering in accordance with invoices and company standards. The role involves unloading, communicating with customers, and maintaining safety and sanitation in the vehicle and load.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience, and may have completed a tractor trailer driving school.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience.
• Completion of a tractor trailer driving school will be accepted instead of, or in addition to a high school diploma.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience required. Food and/or beverage delivery experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Unload product from trailer using hand cart or by hand per customer specifications and company standards.
• Deliver and unload product to stores; ensure invoices are accurate and submitted daily.
• Maintain food safety protocols and sanitary conditions in vehicle, trailer, warehouse and yard.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with customers through clear communication and courteous service.
