Job summary

Sysco's SYGMA Columbus Team is seeking delivery drivers who safely transport products from the warehouse to customers, loading and unloading according to invoices and company standards.

Qualifications

• DOT regulations; Hazmat guidelines; Safe lifting and delivery practices.
• Ability to drive long distances in varying weather and traffic; communicate with customers; problem-solving.
• Read, write and communicate in English related to the job and safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from warehouse to customer locations and delivers on time.
• Unloads product with hand cart or by hand per procedures and keeps areas clean.
• Completes logs, inspections and invoices accurately and on time.
• Maintains food safety and sanitary conditions in vehicle, warehouse and yard.
• Works schedule and overtime as needed to meet customer needs.
