Sysco is seeking delivery drivers for the SYGMA Columbus Team to transport product from the warehouse to customers, adhering to safety and company standards.

Drivers typically run 2-4 routes per week with paid training and potential for high earnings; top earners reach up to $150k per year. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401k. Overnight schedules and DOT compliance are part of the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 1 year tractor trailer driving experience.
• 1 year verifiable tractor trailer driving experience required. Food and/or beverage delivery experience a plus.
• Valid Class A CDL.

Responsibilities

• Unloads product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions and places in designated customer storage areas according to customer specifications and company standards.
• Ensures all paperwork is completed according to established guidelines (DOT logs, inspections, maintenance reports, and invoices) and damages/shortages reported promptly.
• Ensures food safety protocols are met and maintains sanitary conditions in tractor and trailer and warehouse.
• Develops and maintains good relationships with customers by providing excellent and courteous service.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
