Job summary

Sysco’s SYGMA Columbus Team is seeking a professional Delivery Driver to transport products from the warehouse to customers using tractor-trailers, ensuring accurate delivery and proper unloading per invoices and standards.

Minimum qualifications include a High School diploma or GED and at least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience; valid Class A CDL and insurability are required. The role involves overnight shifts, safety compliance, and potential eligibility for incentive plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL required and insurable to operate company vehicles.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and complete reports.

Responsibilities

• Unload product from trailer by hand or hand cart in all weather per customer specifications and company methods.
• Complete all paperwork per DOT logs, inspections, maintenance reports and invoices.
• Maintain food safety and sanitary conditions in vehicle, warehouse, and yard.
• Develop and maintain good customer relationships with clear communication; perform other duties as assigned.
