Job summary

US FOODS® is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver in Charlotte, NC, with Monday–Friday dispatch from 1 AM to 5 AM. You will navigate highways and local streets, safely delivering products to customers and backing into docks.

The role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and professional service to build trust with customers. Responsibilities include safe driving, unloading, verifying deliveries, and maintaining equipment safety.

Qualifications

• CDL-A with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Minimum 6 months of commercial driving experience (any industry) or 3 months in food/beverage delivery.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must read/communicate in English.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registration required.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and deliver products to customers in a timely manner.
• Unload and stage products using available equipment and manual handling.
• Verify deliveries with customers and collect signatures.
• Provide professional customer service throughout the delivery process.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure safety compliance.
• Handle collections and payments when applicable.
