Job summary

Sysco’s SYGMA IL delivery team is seeking a professional driver to transport and deliver products from the warehouse to customers on scheduled routes nightly and on weekends. You will unload, inspect, and document deliveries, maintaining safety and food safety standards throughout each shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1 year tractor trailer experience preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL; insurable to operate a vehicle.
• Completion of a tractor trailer driving school acceptable.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English for safety and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from warehouse to customer on assigned route.
• Unloads product by hand or with a hand cart according to specs.
• Completes DOT logs and other required paperwork daily.
• Maintains safety and sanitary conditions in vehicle and warehouse.
• Communicates route changes and issues to management.
