Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A Driver to support its Elizabeth, NJ territory. You will transport food and related products, ensure on-time deliveries, and interact with customers while maintaining safety and DOT compliance.

The role requires 12+ months driving experience, a valid CDL-A, and a current DOT Health Card. Expect 3AM–5AM dispatch, Mon–Sat schedule, with Sunday off and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent required.
• 12+ months commercial driving experience preferred.
• Valid CDL-A license and DOT Health Card required.
• Must be 21+ years of age and meet state licensing requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years; pass post-offer drug test and road test.

Responsibilities

• Drives tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering food products to customers.
• Follows DOT regulations and company safety guidelines; reports safety hazards.
• Inspects vehicle and loads; ensures proper documentation and customer signatures upon delivery.
• Unloads, stocks, and secures freight at customer sites; collects payments where applicable.
• Completes daily hours of service logs and maintains vehicle cleanliness and security.
