Schedule: Mon-Fri, no weekends

Position Purpose:

Food and food service delivery Drivers play a critical role in the country’s food supply chain. They ensure products arrive on time and in good condition, and they build lasting relationships with customers.

The Driver, Hourly CDL-A, is responsible for driving various trucks to deliver and unload food products safely and efficiently, complying with DOT regulations. They interact professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers, and perform any duties necessary to serve the company.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Perform safety checks and inspections according to DOT standards.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Report safety hazards and ensure freight is properly loaded and secured.
• Check items and paperwork during loading and unloading.
• Deliver orders according to schedule, unload products, and verify deliveries with customers.
• Secure and lock equipment and freight, handle damaged goods and returns, and complete required paperwork.
• Maintain logs of hours of service as per federal and state regulations.
• Keep the tractor, trailer, and work area clean and secure equipment after shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A, age 21+, with all state licensing requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass drug test, background check, and road test.
• Current DOT Health Card or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to lift and move freight weighing 10-90 pounds as needed.
