Gordon Food Service is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver in Connecticut to build relationships with customers while delivering essential food products to various sectors. This opportunity offers an annual pay range of $82K to over $100K, with daily pay based on mileage and deliveries.

Location

38 Boston Post Rd, West Haven CT. No Auto Restriction; must be able to operate a 10 speed transmission.

Schedule

Monday-Friday. Start time 3 AM-5 AM until route finish.

Pay

Annual pay ranges from $82K to over $100K. Paid per day, per mile, per case & per stop!

Responsibilities

Build relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more.

Unload cases up to 100 lbs, using a ramp and two‑wheeler throughout the shift.

Deliver locally and return home every day.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Class A CDL License at hire.
• Ability to operate a two‑wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs throughout your shift.
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check.
• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards.
• Registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent in order to be considered for employment effective January 6th, 2020.
