Job summary

Schneider National is seeking drivers to haul store merchandise in dry van trailers and perform live unloads at customer locations. Routes stay within 400 miles of Akron, OH with reliable home time.

The position offers mileage and load pay, plus on-duty hourly pay, weekly pay, a $2,000/yr sign-on for experienced drivers or $1,000/yr for new drivers, orientation pay, PTO after 6 months, and an annual bonus up to 2% of gross pay.

Overview

• 10-18 loads per week with 1-3 stop-offs per load.

Pay and bonus potential

• Mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
• Earn at least $1,000 in weekly guarantee pay during your first90 daysat Schneider.
• Weekly performance pay.
• $2,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.
• $1,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for inexperienced drivers.
• Paid orientation.
• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
• Annual bonus: Earn up to 2% of annual gross pay each year.
