Job summary

A. Duie Pyle, Inc. seeks an experienced full-time Dedicated CDL-A Truck Driver for our South Portland, ME area. Drive a day cab tractor pulling 48-53’ van/refer trailers with non-hazmat loads, enjoy home daily schedule Friday through Monday, and earn $37 per hour.

The role features no-touch freight, weekly pay, modern equipment, and a strong benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with company match and profit sharing.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 1 year of van tractor trailer experience.
• DOT medical card current or obtainable.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• No more than three moving violations/accidents in last 3 years.
• Must read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Complete deliveries per daily manifest and pick up returns as needed.
• Ensure security and safety of tractor and freight; follow DOT regulations.
• Maintain open communication with customers and account managers.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

CDL-A Dedicated Truck Driver Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Minimum 1 year of recent van tractor trailer experience
• Currently hold, or obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• No more than three moving violations and or accidents within the last three years, subject to review
• Ability to communicate effectively; must be able to read, write and speak English
• Must be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance

CDL-A Dedicated Truck Driver responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Completing deliveries to location(s) based on daily manifest as well as picking up potential returns, as needed
• Ensuring the security and safety of the tractor and freight; adhering to all DOT regulations and guidelines
• Building relationships through excellent communication with customers and account managers
• Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
