Job summary

CR England is seeking experienced CDL-A drivers for a dedicated Target account. You will run a mix of shuttles, full loads and deliveries from shuttle points, with pre-loaded reefers and occasional lift-gate duties.

The role offers 2–3 days home weekly, 24/7 operations, and competitive benefits. Valid CDL-A and 3+ months of experience are required; drivers over 21 with recent CDL-A experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A required with 3+ months of Class A CDL experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• This lane is not suitable for students, recent grads, or trainees.

Responsibilities

• Drive dedicated Target account with a mix of shuttles, full loads, and deliveries.
• Pre-loaded tri-temp/dual temp reefers; observe unloads.
• Handle store unloads; use lift gate and pallet jacks as needed.
• Operate 28-ft and 53-ft trailers with automatic transmissions.
• Return to West Jefferson, OH with deliveries to downtown Chicago and suburbs.
• Maintain compliance with safety and hours-of-service rules.

Job description

Join our dedicated Target account running a mix of shuttles, full loads, and deliveries from shuttle points.

Valid CDL-A plus 3+ months of Class A CDL experience required

This lane is not suitable for students, recent graduates, or trainees.

Pre-loaded tri-temp/dual temp reefers. Most stores are store unload with the driver observing the unload. The inner city stores will require the use of lift gate and pallet jacks.

All loads start and final at the West Jefferson, OH with deliveries to downtown Chicago and the surrounding Chicago suburbs.

Home time: 2-3 days home weekly with a 34-hour reset

This account is a 24/7 operation so shift times may vary

Current shift available: 9PM to Noon (overnights) 7 days a week with no set days off

Top-of-the line automatic transmission trucks hauling 28-ft and 53-ft trailers

The trucks can be parked in a safe and secured location.

Driver Requirements:

Valid Class A CDL

21 Years of age or older

3 months or more of recent CDL-A experience
