Job summary

CR England is seeking experienced CDL-A drivers for a dedicated Target account. The role features a dedicated lane with a mix of shuttles, full loads, and store deliveries on tri-temp/dual temp reefers. Expect pre-loaded trailers, observer-unloads at most stores, and 2–3 days of home time weekly with a 34-hour reset.

Current shift options include overnights (9 PM to Noon) 7 days a week with no set days off. Benefits include health, retirement, PTO, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• 21 years of age or older.
• 3 months or more of CDL-A experience.
• This lane is not suitable for students, recent graduates, or trainees.

Responsibilities

• Transport loads for the Target account on a dedicated lane.
• Operate 28-ft and 53-ft trailers with automatic transmission.
• Pre-loaded tri-temp/dual temp reefers; observe unloads at stores.
• Home time: 2–3 days weekly with a 34-hour reset.
• This account runs 24/7; shift times may vary.

Valid CDL-A plus 3+ months of Class A CDL experience required

This lane is not suitable for students, recent graduates, or trainees.

Pre-loaded tri-temp/dual temp reefers. Most stores are store unload with the driver observing the unload. The inner city stores will require the use of lift gate and pallet jacks.

All loads start and final at the West Jefferson, OH with deliveries to downtown Chicago and the surrounding Chicago suburbs.

Home time: 2-3 days home weekly with a 34-hour reset

This account is a 24/7 operation so shift times may vary

Current shift available: 9PM to Noon (overnights) 7 days a week with no set days off

Top-of-the line automatic transmission trucks hauling 28-ft and 53-ft trailers

The trucks can be parked in a safe and secured location.

Driver Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
• 21 Years of age or older
• 3 months or more of recent CDL-A experience
