Job summary

Pickle Roofing Solutions seeks an experienced CDL-A driver for a dedicated Family Dollar run out of St. George, UT. This role prioritizes more than just driving, keeping you active while delivering dry freight across multiple states.

Required: valid CDL-A and 3+ months of Class A experience; 21+ years old. Not suitable for students or trainees. Weekly 34-hour home time, with Las Vegas drivers often away two weeks, then home three days. Rolling unloads and up to 14-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Haul dry freight on a dedicated Family Dollar account across a multi-state area.

• Home time: weekly 34-hour reset; Las Vegas drivers out 2 weeks at a time, then 3 days home.
• Average 1,700 miles per week with 2 loads and 3 stops per load.

Job description

Hiring experienced CDL-A drivers on a dedicated fleet out of St. George, UT. Drivers on this Family Dollar account haul dry freight within a multi-state area. This position is ideal for drivers wanting to do more than drive and stay active.

Valid CDL-A plus 3+ months of Class A CDL experience required

This lane is not suitable for students, recent graduates, or trainees.

Dedicated account with Family Dollar hauling all dry freight to customer locations throughout Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregan, Utah, Washington and Wyoming

Average 1,700 miles, 2 loads per week, and 3 stops per load

Start time is 6AM with up to 14 hour shift

Home Time: Weekly 34-hour reset. Drivers living in Las Vegas will be out 2 weeks at a time followed by 3 days home

Unload the trailer using rollers (requires climbing in and out of the trailer as necessary)

Days off vary based on freight demand, but will fall during the weekdays in most instances

Breakdown 24 hours - $200 per day

St George Backhaul Pickup - $15 per load, $15 for Dunnage

Clean DOT Inspection - $25

Safe and On Time Bonus - Up to 3% Weekly

Driver Requirements:

Valid Class A CDL

21 Years of age or older

3 months or more of recent CDL-A experience
