Job summary

C.R. England is seeking professional Class A CDL drivers for long-haul refrigerated routes. Drivers pull no-touch freight, make hook deliveries, and operate with weekly home time for a 34‑hour reset around the weekend.

Routes span Philadelphia to Ohio and parts of the Midwest. Expect about 2100 miles per week with mileage and stop pay; TWIC or hazmat/tank endorsements may be required with 30 days to obtain.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• 21 years of age or older
• 3 months of recent Class A CDL experience
• TWIC card required or eligible within 30 days

Responsibilities

• Pull containers on chassis and deliver no-touch freight/drop and hook freight
• Deliveries from terminals in the Philadelphia, PA area to OH, Western New York, West Virginia and Central/Western Pennsylvania
• Home time weekly for a 34-hour reset on the weekend (sometimes weekdays)
• Shifts typically Sun–Fri or Mon–Sat to maximize miles
• Miles are about 2100 per week; mileage pay and stop pay

Lane Details

Pull containers on chassis and deliver no-touch freight/drop and hook freight

Deliveries from terminals in the Philadelphia, PA area to Ohio, Western New York, West Virginia and Central/Western Pennsylvania

Home time: Weekly for a 34-hour reset on the weekend, sometimes during the week

In order to maximize a drivers miles, shifts are Sunday - Friday or Monday - Saturday

Stop pay

Drivers that manage their hours well, can expect roughly 2100 miles per week

Driver Requirements

Valid Class A CDL

21 Years of age or older

3 months of or more of recent Class A CDL experience

TWIC card is required to hire. Hazmat and Tankers will need to be obtained in 30 days. (Company will reimburse the fees with receipts. Drivers can start as long as they have applied for the TWIC card)

Drivers must have a safe and legal place to park their truck and container at their home

Limited bobtail parking available for those who live close to the port
