Job summary

C.R. England is seeking a Class A CDL driver for long-haul, no-touch freight from the Philadelphia area, with weekly home time and steady miles. Expect mileage-based pay, occasional stop pay, and regular 34-hour resets on weekends.

Drivers typically run Sunday–Friday or Monday–Saturday to maximize miles, with payroll based on miles driven and miles per week. Company benefits listed in policy materials and weekly/annual pay guidance available.

• 21 years of age or older
• 3 months of or more of recent Class A CDL experience
• TWIC card required; Hazmat and Tankers must be obtained within 30 days

Responsibilities

• Pull containers on chassis and deliver no-touch freight/drop and hook freight
• Deliveries from terminals in the Philadelphia, PA area to Ohio, Western New York, West Virginia and Central/Western Pennsylvania
• Home time: Weekly for a 34-hour reset on the weekend
• Shifts run Sunday–Friday or Monday–Saturday to maximize miles
• Mileage pay and stop pay; about 2100 miles per week for well-managed hours

Lane Details

Pull containers on chassis and deliver no-touch freight/drop and hook freight

Deliveries from terminals in the Philadelphia, PA area to Ohio, Western New York, West Virginia and Central/Western Pennsylvania

Home time: Weekly for a 34-hour reset on the weekend, sometimes during the week

In order to maximize a drivers miles, shifts are Sunday - Friday or Monday - Saturday

Stop pay

Drivers that manage their hours well, can expect roughly 2100 miles per week

Driver Requirements

Valid Class A CDL

21 Years of age or older

3 months of or more of recent Class A CDL experience

TWIC card is required to hire. Hazmat and Tankers will need to be obtained in 30 days. (Company will reimburse the fees with receipts. Drivers can start as long as they have applied for the TWIC card)

Drivers must have a safe and legal place to park their truck and container at their home

Limited bobtail parking available for those who live close to the port
