Job summary

Polaris Freightways is hiring a CDL-A Dedicated Local Truck Driver for a Chicago-based account. This home-daily role offers consistent local routes (max 91 miles round trip), mostly drop-and-hook freight, and automatic transmissions.

Work six days, then a 34-hour reset. Applicants must have a valid Class A CDL and meet one of the following: three months of tractor-trailer experience in the past 12 months, or qualifying tractor-trailer experience in the past 10 years with active driving time, and

Polaris Freightways is hiring CDL-A drivers for a dedicated local account based in Chicago, Illinois. This home-daily position offers consistent routes, all year round consistent work, primarily drop-and-hook freight, and automatic top-of-the-line equipment.

• Dedicated Target account
• Local routes with a maximum round trip of 91 miles
• CPM-based pay with bonus opportunities
• Automatic-transmission trucks
• 53-foot trailers

Schedule

Drivers work six days followed by a 34-hour reset.

Experience Requirements

Applicants must have a valid Class A CDL and meet one of the following experience standards:

• At least three months of tractor-trailer driving experience within the past 12 months
• Qualifying tractor-trailer experience within the past 10 years, with time actively driving equal to or greater than time away from driving
• Anility to meet DOT and company hiring standards
