Job summary

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, motivated full-time Dedicated CDL-A Truck Driver to join our team in Syracuse, NY. Flex drivers cover for dedicated accounts where needed across multiple locations.

Earn $355 flat rate for local runs; $400 flat rate per day for runs that require sleep outs. Includes benefits like paid vacation, PTO, holidays, health/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, and disability coverage.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Hazmat is required to start.
• Tanker endorsement to start or willingness to obtain in 90 days (varies by account).
• Minimum 1 year of recent tractor trailer experience.
• Currently hold, or obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• No more than three moving violations and/or accidents within the last three years, subject to review.
• Ability to communicate effectively; read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Completing deliveries to location(s) based on daily manifest and returns as needed.
• Ensuring the security and safety of the tractor and freight; adhering to all DOT regulations.
• Building relationships through communication with customers and account managers.
• Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
