Job summary

Salt City Trucking seeks a CDL-A Local Hazmat Driver for La Crosse, WI. This role covers a dedicated auto parts account with dry van trailers and a mix of multi-stop deliveries and shuttle runs. Driver unloads at each stop using a liftgate and electric pallet jack.

The position requires a Hazmat endorsement (training upon hire), a valid CDL-A, a clean driving record, and a DOT Medical Card. Expect a five-day workweek, night dispatch windows, and home daily.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 9 months of tractor-trailer experience in past 3 years.
• Must be at least 22 years old.
• No more than 3 moving violations in past 3 years; FMCSA Clearinghouse profile.
• Must meet DOT English language requirements and have a DOT Medical Card.

Responsibilities

• Unload freight at each stop using a liftgate and electric pallet jack.
• Handle a mix of multi-stop deliveries and shuttle runs.
• Operate automatic Freightliner sleeper trucks; home daily.

Pay Details & Schedule

• Average Annual Pay: $80,000
• Average Weekly Pay: Approximately $1,550
• Mileage Pay: $0.604 CPM
• Stop Pay: $25 per stop
• Sign-On Bonus: $5,000, with the first payment after 30 days
• Paid weekly
• Five-day workweek with two consecutive days off
• Choose from Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday
• Overnight dispatch times between 11:00 PM and 1:00 AM
• Home daily
