J Rose Enterprises is seeking professional drivers to serve Northeast regional routes operating within 1,066 miles of Windsor, CT. The role features a generous compensation plan with a sign‑on bonus, a summer retention bonus and weekly incentives.

Drivers earn aggressive mileage-based pay, plus premium accessorial pay for unloads, backhauls, and NYC deliveries, with a full benefits package and weekly home time. Night shifts are required and schedules adapt to customer needs.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A driving experience within the last 3 years.
• 100% touch freight; physically demanding unloading.
• Must meet all DOT drug, alcohol, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate Northeast regional routes (CT, MA, NH, VT, NY, RI, ME) within 1,066 miles of Windsor, CT.
• Night driving is required with flexible schedules to meet customer delivery needs.
• Unload and load shipments as required and ensure safe handling.

  • 0 Months: $0.53/mile

• Premium Accessorial Pay:
  • Unload Pay: $240 per unload.
  • Backhaul Pay: $105 per load.

Home Time & Schedule:

• Home Weekly: Minimum of one full reset at home each week.
• Shift: Night driving is required. Drivers should be flexible for varied schedules tailored to customer delivery needs.
• Operating Area: Northeast regional routes covering CT, MA, NH, VT, NY, RI, and ME (all operations run within 1,066 miles of Windsor, CT).

Job Requirements:

• License: Valid Class A CDL.
• Experience: Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A driving experience within the last 3 years. (Note: School/training time does not count toward experience).
• Physical Work: 100% touch freight. This is a physically demanding role requiring manual, box-by-box live unloading using store rollers.
• Safety & Background: Must meet all DOT drug, alcohol, and safety requirements. Accidents, violations, and tickets are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
