Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required with at least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to obtain a DOT medical card.

• Complete deliveries based on the daily manifest and pick up potential returns.

Job description

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, motivated full-time Class A Dedicated Delivery Truck Driver in Newburgh, NY.

Why Pyle?

• Flat rate pay: $303.45 weekdays
• Start Time: Between 2:30 AM and 8:00 AM - Monday to Friday, some weekend work available but not mandatory
• Approx. 10-12 hours a day (may have backhauls)
• No touch freight, or drop and hook.
• Weekly pay (every Friday) via direct deposit

Responsibilities

• Completing deliveries based on the daily manifest and picking up potential returns, as needed
• Ensuring the security and safety of the tractor and freight; adhering to all DOT regulations and guidelines
• Building relationships through excellent communication with customers and account managers
• Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Minimum 1 year of recent tractor-trailer experience
• Current or ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
• At least 21 years of age
• No more than three moving violations or accidents within the last three years, subject to review
• Effective communication skills; ability to read, write, and speak English
