Job summary

MasTec, Inc. in Texas seeks a dedicated truck driver to transport construction equipment and materials between jobsites. You will load/unload, secure loads, and perform routine truck maintenance.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, 1–2 years related experience, and a high school diploma or GED. You must follow safety procedures, obtain permits, and maintain a clean driving record. Competitive pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year certificate from college or technical school and/or 1–2 years related experience.
• Previous experience with transporting construction equipment and materials.
• Valid Class A CDL.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment and materials.
• Secure loads, and monitor weights.
• Vehicle and equipment maintenance.
• Haul counterweights for cranes, water, sand and gravel.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Communicate equipment and material issues between office/shop/jobsite.
• Daily inspection of truck.
• Obtain required permits.
• Maintain a safe driving record.
• Handle basic maintenance of the truck (fuel, oil, cleanliness).
• Advise Superintendent if trucks need major repairs.
• Other duties as assigned.
