SME Logistics LLC, a subsidiary of SME Industries Inc., is hiring experienced dedicated flatbed truck drivers. We haul fabricated steel from our locations in West Jordan, Utah; Pocatello, Idaho; Las Vegas, NV; and El Mirage, Arizona. Our routes include construction sites across Arizona, California, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington, with back-haul loads returning to our terminals in Arizona and Utah. We prefer drivers residing near our delivery routes to promote a healthy work-life balance.

Job Type: Full-time

What You Will Earn

• Starting pay: $0.63 CPM (loaded and empty miles). At 6 months: $0.65, 12 months: $0.68, 3 years: $0.69, 5 years: $0.70 per mile.
• Extra pay for tarping backhaul loads: $50 per tarp.
• Starting hourly pay: $25 in Utah, $28 in Arizona, with increases based on years of service for loads under 100 miles plus mileage pay.
• $100 for a clean safety inspection.

Driving Area & Requirements

Routes include hauling fabricated steel from Utah, Idaho, Nevada, and Arizona to construction sites in Arizona, California, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. Drivers should live near our delivery routes and be flexible to travel within the U.S. as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• CDL Class A
• At least 2 years of CMV tractor-trailer experience (flatbed preferred)
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 12 months
• No speeding violations over 15 MPH in 3 years
• No rollovers or abandonment
• Ability to secure freight by hand
• Pass DOT physical and drug screening
