Job summary

Trego Dugan Aviation Of Grand Island Inc in Nashville, TN is hiring a Cargo Warehouse Hostler Driver for a full-time role within airport ramp operations. You will operate hostlers, yard tractors, and Class A vehicles to move cargo equipment, spot and stage trailers, and ensure on-time cargo transport under DOT/TSA rules.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, reporting safety concerns, maintaining compliance, and supporting air cargo handling across shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license with acceptable driving record.
• Current medical certification to meet DOT driver qualification standards.
• Ability to pass DOT drug and alcohol testing, 10-year background check, and airport security screening.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an airport badge and restricted area access.
• Must be at least 21 years of age (DOT requirement).
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate hostlers, yard tractors, day cabs, and other ground support equipment to move trailers and cargo within ramps and warehouse environments.
• Spot, stage, and position trailers accurately to support cargo build-up and flight schedules.
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and en-route inspections per DOT and company standards.
• Identify and report mechanical defects or safety concerns immediately.
• Operate Class A vehicles on public roadways to transport cargo between airport and off-site locations.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations including hours of service, driver logs, and inspections.
• Ensure cargo is properly secured for safe transport and complete required documentation.
