Job summary

Dyno Nobel seeks a Bulk Truck Operator to safely operate company trucks and specialized equipment delivering commercial explosives to customers. The role includes loading, unloading, site travel, and basic maintenance of SME equipment, while adhering to DN H&S procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a CDL Class A with hazmat endorsements, several months of relevant driving experience, and the ability to work early mornings with long shifts, ensuring on-time deliveries and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license with air brakes, tanker, and hazmat endorsements required.
• 5+ months of mechanical, commercial driving, explosives or related work experience.
• Willing to undergo ATF background check to possess explosives.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to start Monday–Friday, with long daily shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate Dyno Nobel trucks and SME equipment to deliver explosives safely.
• Assist in operation and maintenance of local SME plant; load/unload and quality checks.
• Drive vehicles on public roads and off-road to mine sites, quarries, and other locations.
• Calibrate equipment, manage fuel calculations and emulsion density checks.
• Load/unload trucks, maintain magazines and inventory; follow safety procedures.
